bissell powerforce bagless sweeper?
i have a bissell powerforce bagless sweeper that always gets clogged. i have unclogged it twice and it still continues to happen. but it still is sucking up dirt but none of the dirt is going into the container… i dont know what to do…is there a way to fix it???
Under the dirt cup there is a slide out tray with a sponge filter in it, pull that tray all the way out and lay the sweeper on it’s back. Get a flash light and look in there. I’d bet there is something stuck in the back that is causing the issue. If you can’t get your fingers in there to pull it out, try a pair of needle nosed pliers. I had that problem and finally figured it out. The sweeper has been fine ever since.
The things that seem to get stuck in there are things like milk jug rings, twist ties, the stiff clear plastic they use to seal packages and pill bottles and tissues. I think the “turn” into the dirt cup might be a little too tight and that’s what is causing stiffer items to hang up in there.
