95 Merc 3.5 liter engines, what can I do for you?

This engine has an electronic choke, and we do not seem to give around and keep it running. We have a 12V battery, new terminals, new plugs, dist. Cap, rotor, cleaned fuel pump, fuel line, vacuum line, fuel filters and has a new twist starter / solenoid. After doing this the boat will not work. We thought it might have been the shock that was not good to grow, but the mechanic said he worked very well. I note, without the filter of the air in the butterfly in the carburetor is set is causing the engine too much air in the mixture. Please help …. Correction ray 3.0-liter 17 March 1995 I / O Merc 3.0 I do not set someone is working on DEIS other boat, however, is also looking to see if there is a way to test the electronic choke to see if it works correctly. Carbohydrates does not stick and moves freely when the manual setting of the course.

Tell me, is a 3.0-liter or 3.7 liter? Did not build a Mercruiser 3.5L, typo? What year? The serial number? We please. You have a problem with the carburetor. Mercarb you did for Mercruiser. With the engine on, the starter, the throttle valve at the top should be primarily closed in cold and then to after running 5 to 10 minutes. If the shock when you open the engine begins to malfunction, then you are not getting enough fuel. If you look down below you see a carbohydrate funny screw the base of the carburetor. This is the mixing screw at rest. Turn the screw 1 / 2 Back to ACE see if this will help to sleep Hot. You may also need to add a little mercury, quick clean fuel and let it run through the system. If this does not solve the problem, the carburetor must be rebuilt. You should get the kit from a marine dealer, no car kit for your carbs. Thank you for providing additional information I hope this helps.
