95 Merc 3.5 liter engines, what can I do for you?
This engine has an electronic choke, and we do not seem to give around and keep it running. We have a 12V battery, new terminals, new plugs, dist. Cap, rotor, cleaned fuel pump, fuel line, vacuum line, fuel filters and has a new twist starter / solenoid. After doing this the boat will not work. Tell me, is a 3.0-liter or 3.7 liter? Did not build a Mercruiser 3.5L, typo? What year? The serial number? We please. You have a problem with the carburetor. Mercarb you did for Mercruiser. With the engine on, the starter, the throttle valve at the top should be primarily closed in cold and then to after running 5 to 10 minutes. If the shock when you open the engine begins to malfunction, then you are not getting enough fuel. If you look down below you see a carbohydrate funny screw the base of the carburetor.
